CARRIES FIVE, EFFICIENTLY

The Nissan LEAF^® is all about efficiency, but that doesn't mean we've skimped on either interior finish or size. It's a 5-door, 5-passenger hatchback featuring heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and a 60/40-split fold-down rear seat that, when down, provides a spacious 24 cubic feet of cargo volume. The stylish, modern, and comfortable light grey seats are partially made from recycled bottles.

NATURAL RESOURCEFULNESS

Efficiency was built into every aspect of the Nissan LEAF^®, literally from bumper to bumper. The LED headlights consume 50% of the energy of conventional halogen lights and, their housing was designed to deflect air away from the side mirrors to reduce drag and wind noise. The underbody is flat, and works with the rear diffuser to create smoother airflow, further reducing drag and wind noise. The solar panel spoiler converts sunlight into energy, helping power the stereo, climate control, and headlights
